Iman berarti percaya, bahwa kasih-Nya atas kita sempurna dan rancangan-Nya selalu rancangan damai sejahtera. Sebagai orang percaya, tugas pertama kita adalah mempercayai-Nya (Yoh. 6:28-29). Dan semua penyembahan yang benar harus keluar dari hati yang percaya kepada Allah.<\/p>\n<p>Kata \u201cworship\u201d pertama kali muncul di Alkitab pada Kejadian 22:5 ketika Abraham akan mempersembahkan anaknya Ishak sebagai korban bakaran di gunung Moria. Alasan mengapa Abraham adalah seorang penyembah adalah karena ia setuju dengan apa pun yang Allah perintahkan dan rencanakan kepadanya.<\/p>\n<p>Sekalipun tidak ada dasar untuk berharap, tetapi Abraham berharap juga dan percaya. Terhadap janji Allah, Abraham tidak bimbang dan penuh keyakinan, bahwa Allah berkuasa untuk melaksanakan apa yang telah Ia janjikan. Oleh sebab itu hal ini diperhitungkan kepadanya sebagai kebenaran. (Roma 4:18-22). Itulah mengapa ia disebut sebagai bapa orang percaya.<\/p>\n<p>Hati yang percaya menyukakan hati Allah dan ini merupakan tujuan utama dari penyembahan kita. Mari kita mengangkat tangan dan menyembah Allah, tanpa keragu-raguan.<\/p>\n<p><em>Doa: \u201cKami rindu menjadi penyembah-penyembah benar yang menyembah-Mu dalam roh dan kebenaran. Biarlah hati kami adalah hati yang percaya penuh kepada-Mu, ya Allah.
