Kata Yesus kepadanya: &#8220;Jikalau engkau hendak sempurna, pergilah, juallah segala milikmu dan berikanlah itu kepada orang-orang miskin, maka engkau akan beroleh harta di sorga, kemudian datanglah ke mari dan ikutlah Aku.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Imamat pasal 11, mencatat binatang haram dan halal. Dalam bahasa aslinya bukan makan halal atau haram tetapi bersih atau tidak bersih. Kebanyakan binatang ternak makan tumbuhan, itulah binatang memamah biak. Sedangkan binatang lain yang makan segala itulah yang dilarang. Binatang yang hanya makan tumbuhan dianggap bersih. Dalam rantai makan bukan predator. Kelinci dan pelanduk tidak boleh dimakan karena pada zaman itu tidak diternak.\u00a0 Baru zaman sekarang diternak. Pada zaman itu belum ada aturan pola makan yang sehat.\u00a0 Sebagai bangsa pilihan, bangsa Israel diatur pola hidup sehatnya.\u00a0 Memang pada zaman itu belum berkembang ilmu pengetahuan di bidang kesehatan dan pengobatan. Kalau terjadi penyakit akibat memakan binatang, maka belum ada obatnya seperti sekarang. Allah memberikan perintah sederhana, boleh atau tidak boleh. Kalau ditanya mengapa, maka jawabannya panjang. Intinya, kita harus menjaga kesehatan kita.<\/p>\n<p>Jadi, marilah kita hidup sesuai firman Tuhan. Bukan ini boleh, itu jangan. Iman kita bila berdasarkan boleh tidak boleh maka akan rapuh. Hanya memuaskan napsu. Jangan terjebak oleh mitos-mitos. Kisah Imamat terjadi empat ribu tahun yang lalu. Bila diterapkan zaman sekarang tidak lagi relevan. Rasul Paulus mengajarkan, bahwa kita bukan Yahudi jadi tidak terikat pada adat istiadat Yahudi. Namun, Rasul Paulus menaati Taurat karena dia Yahudi. Dalam Matius 18 anak muda kaya sudah sempurna melakukan semuanya dan merasa layak. Namun, respon Tuhan Yesus adalah: jual untuk diberikan kepada orang miskin, lalu ikut Yesus, yaitu pikul salib sangkal diri dan mengabarkan Injil. Itulah yang Tuhan Yesus mau. Bukan soal halal atau haram, tetapi hidup yang menjadi berkat, dan bukan batu sandungan.<\/p>\n<p><em>Roma 14:20. Janganlah engkau merusakkan pekerjaan Allah oleh karena makanan! Segala sesuatu adalah suci, tetapi celakalah orang, jika oleh makanannya orang lain tersandung!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Doa:<\/em><\/strong><em> \u201cBapa di dalam nama Yesus, ajar aku mengerti kehendak-Mu.
